SALUTE TO SERVICE SUNDAY

Today is November 11, 2018. Today, we honor all those who have served or are serving in our military.  It is my honor to write this gratitude story about three extraordinary young men and to thank all the servicemen and women who have served in all the branches of our military.

I have two Grandsons, brothers; one who was Commissioned, four years ago, and one who will be Commissioned this coming May from the United States Naval Academy. They are bright young men, one who has earned his wings and one who will study and fly helicopters.  They believe in, ” Honor, Courage, and Commitment.”  Both of these young men have worked hard and are ready and willing to serve the country they love, The United States of America.  Thank you for your service dear Grandsons. I am so very proud of both of you! Happy Veterans Day!

I have another Grandson who is presently serving in United States Army. I am as equally proud of his service as I am of the Navy boys. He too is very bright and is working hard to protect our nation. ” Army Strong!” I am very proud of your commitment. Thank you! Happy Veterans Day!

Thank you to all those men and women who have served our country during war times, and conflicts. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifices are to be commended.  Happy Veterans Day!

Thank you for all those who are presently serving our country. I cannot begin to thank you for your continued dedication to keeping the land that I love safe. Happy Veterans Day!

I am proud to be an American, and I love and admire those who have and who are working hard to keep us safe.

Pay it forward when you see a veteran. Buy a Vet a coffee, a breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Personally thank them, shake their hand, and maybe even give them a hug; not just on Veterans Day but every day.  They deserve it. God Bless America!
